You do not need to use a claims management company to make your complaint to your bank, and if your complaint is not successful you can refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service for free.
You don't have to use a claims management company to make a claim to FSCS as you can claim with them directly, for free.

If your complaint is with a lender they all have statements on their websites regarding their operational ability but we must advise that some lenders may not be making responding to complaints their priority at the present time

PPI DEADLINE WAS 29/08/2019
However if your claim/s are already with the lender the 'deadline does not apply'.
Also if your case is being looked at by the FSCS then the 'deadline does not apply'.
